It took us a loooong time to build our dream home. Nestled in a quaint and cozy setting in the Mount Hermon Community, everything turned out as planned and we are finally all setteled in, comfy and cozy. So come along with me and I'll take you on a tour....
If you have driven by our home, I'm sure you've noticed my Big Side Porch...THIS is one of the BEST features of my home. It's the perfect place to go to relax and just get lost in nature. Oh so peaceful....:)
This is our Breakfast area. I wanted a group of chairs and seats with different wood finishes for interest and charm. I placed a chippy yellow bench on one side of the table and then used two upholstered chairs on each end. Then placed a larger side chair with yellow cushions and a pretty wood back. My dish hutch sits back to one side filled with a collection of special dishes that I simply LOVE.....:) I love the Charm this entire group adds to this space. The pictuure on the right shows off the end of my kitchen island and the counter across the room.
 
One of the most exciting rooms I created in our home is my room size Butler's Pantry......I LOVE it. This room stores all my extra dishes....untensils....and gives us extra space for food prepping and entertaining. The picture below is what you see when you come in from the garage. This is my Baking Center. A place for mixing and making baked goods and a perfect spot to keep my mixer handy. The drawers and space below holds heavy mixing bowls and baking pans.
And just look at these pullouts.....Oh what a back saver....and you don't have to stand on your head to find what's buried in the back. It's all right there at easy reach....:)
 
This is our Beverage Center. It is complete with built in ice maker and is the perfect to serve friends and keep all the beverages handy . The cupboard above holds our glasses and cups for helping yourself and the service drawers hold extra silverware, serving pieces and dishes. I LOVE my spoon and fork handles on these glass doors.....
 
Across from this area is our food pantry for all our food and supplies and there is a Office Desk there and a place to toss our keys, cell phones and mail. We just plug up the phones and grab them again on our way out. This space keeps everything so handy. OK....let's move on around to the other side.... This takes you back around to the side porch and on into our "Breakfast Room". On this side of our Butler's Pantry, we created a space for making Snacks and Sandwiches. There is a two drawer refrigerator, microwave and a large sink for food prepping. Also a TV and cafe table and chairs for taking a break or sneaking away for a bit.
 
The drawers below holds all my "Little Things".....Cookie Cutters....Napkin Rings....Tools....Mixing Spoons and Spatulars.....and so much more. And the cabinet space there, is where I keep my extra paper plates, napkins and carry out containers.
 
I LOVE my trash pull out. It's PERFECT...one of my "favorite things".
 
These pullouts keep my baking pans and mixing bowls all organinze and at an easy reach...
 
Below is one of My Favorite Features.....My very own....Dumb Waiter...!!! We installed this for our granddaughters to fairy food and snacks up to our theater room. Just as a FUN feature. However, we put it to good use. It also carries up luggage, books, supplies, and anything else we can cram in there. Fill it up, hit the button and it's upstairs before YOU are... Love it..!!!
